Robert is a highly skilled planning professional with more than 40 years’ experience in local government, including 33 years as a qualified town planner. He has a thorough knowledge of all elements of strategic and statutory planning, land and engineering survey design and local government administration.

Robert has outstanding communication, conciliation and mediation skills.   • Preparation of major local environmental assessment plans including the Sydney to Newcastle Freeway Extension.
  • Major planning scheme review for the sub-region Hornsby to Epping.
  • Responsible for the processing and assessment of development applications relating to foreshore development – Hawkesbury River, Cowan and Berowra Creeks.

Bright/Alpine Shire Councils (Victoria)

  • Co-ordination of major review of the Bright Planning Scheme.
  • Co-ordination of rural residential planning strategies for the sub-region Bright to Harrietville.
  • Co-ordination of black and white mapping bases for the Bright Planning Scheme.

  • Co-ordinating the consolidation of planning schemes (Bright, Omeo, Oxley, Yackandandah Shires) post local government amalgamation.
